Community Support 100%
Indigenous Beadworking Workshop

Participants of an array of ages attended a guided workshop to learn about and how to do Indigenous beadworking as we shared stories. Guiding us through this workshop was Candice Stevenson (Rezcandyshoppe on Instagram + Facebook). Rich storytelling occurred as we learnt about various life experiences. Participants received all materials, a gift bag with products by local small (& Indigenous) businesses, and a meal by Cedar Feast House Catering.

Palestinian Cultural Day

A successful event where about 100 people showed up to learn about Palestinian culture through food, dance, and through art. Dance and art are ways to tell a story that is so hands-on and creates such a rich learning experience.
